Summer Is Coming to an End

You know the summer is coming to an end when Chris heads back to school and I start teaching. For me summer is not offically over because I have not finished my summer classes. I have one more week to go in summer classes and then I get a little break before the fall classes start.
Teaching at Guajome has been great. Things started off a little crazy but either I am getting used to thing being crazy or things are setting down or a little of both.
Last week although it was long seemed to fly by. I have a feeling this entire year is going to fly by. The summer was great, even though I spent most of my time in classes. Chris was the one that truely made the difference. He drove me to class and was there to drive me home. It made all the difference in the world to get to spend that time with him.
Teaching is quickly going to get into full swing. My students are really great. A few of them have written on their student surveys that they like to talk but that they get their work done. I know it has only been a week but I have not had any problems. The key is staying stern and showing them who is boss while also showing them that I am flexable and approachable.
