Fresno Trip

This quarter is quickly coming to an end. Last week I finally finished up with my last mid-term. After completing my mid-terms I headed up to Fresno to spend the weekend with my love. I got to Fresno late on Thursday night. Early Friday morning Chris and I went to Yosemite. I have always wanted to go to Yosemite but have never had the opportunity. It really is a beautiful and relaxing place. Chris bought a year pass to all the National Parks, so we are going to visit a few other National Parks and also Yosemite later in the winter when there is snow.

While in Fresno I not only got to spend some time with Chris but also with his roommate, Justin and Justin’s girlfriend, Sarah. I have interacted with Sarah on the phone before but never in person. Sarah is a lot of fun and has a good spirit. She is into the holidays just as much as I am and she encouraged us to start decorating the house for Christmas. It was fun to sit with Sarah and make fun of Chris as he got Christmas lights tangled up. In addition to getting into the Christmas spirit I also fixed a pre Thanksgiving dinner for Chris, Justin, Sarah, and a few other friends. I really miss the family that comes along from living with people. Although I have my 48 residents and the RA staff I don’t have people that I live with that makes a tight sense of family.

In less than a week I will be back in Fresno again, this time for Thanksgiving. We are actually going to be having Thanksgiving dinner at Tio’s and Tia’s house with my family and Christopher’s family. After dinner in Arvin my parents are going to stay the night in Fresno and we are all going to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I will be sure to take some pictures of Thanksgiving and post them afterwards. But until then here are some pictures I took while in Fresno.
